“Who spread these rumors?” Adrian growled in anger as he slammed his fist on the table, making the council members jump in surprise.
“Sir, it’s your mate that spread it herself.” Tristan said quite bravely as he answered the Rogue Alpha.
“What!?” Adrian asked in shock. He knew Katerina didn’t want others to know that they were mates, so why would she spread those rumors. Add to it the fact that Katerina barely knew anyone, there was no way that Katerina was behind the news.
“Alpha, please, sit.” Caleb said calmly as he seemingly realized what was wrong with the entire matter.
Trusting his beta, Adrian sat down and closed his eyes, taking deep breaths as he thought of his beautiful mate. He thought of her soft skin and her luscious curves.
