Adrian Preston kept glancing at his phone, checking the time as one of his Vice Presidents presented to him the company’s performance in the last month.
In the past Adrian would very much be involved in this meeting, but he had something much more important going on tonight.
‘You should listen.’ His Beta, Caleb, mind linked him.
‘It’s the same thing every month Caleb, we are going well, we are doing better. I should have moved this meeting.’ Adrian hissed as he looked at his phone once more.
He saw Caleb smile and shake his head as he stifled a laugh. It seemed the Rogue Beta found Adrian’s struggle amusing.
‘You’re right, we probably should. The man in front just said something pretty stupid and you didn’t even react.’ Caleb pointed out as he raised his hand telling the man to stop.
