Chapter 2 After a fruitless search through the cubicles and the rows of servers at the back, Dana, Gayle, and even McGranville engaged in a rousing game of doing everything they could to get Peluda excited enough to fetch something else shiny. What finally worked was tossing the feather wand back and forth between them, then ignoring the cat entirely. When she finally galloped back through the cubicles, they broke into the rather awkward and undignified run of many IT professionals. Beyond the identical and mostly empty cubes, three rows of server racks took up the back of the room.
