Alana and her mother spent a fair amount of time in the gardens. The fresh air helped Alana's mood drastically. Before long, one of the kitchen maids came out and called for Alana's mother to go over the food and menu to make sure that everything was in order. Davina cast one more smile in her daughter's direction before heading to the side door that led into the kitchens.
