Hugh and Alana squared off in the sparring circle. Neither made the first move. Hugh was slightly surprised. He figured that Alana might take after her brother and he the first to charge. She seemed to be waiting for him to make the first move to gauge his attacks. He would give her that one. Although he would never tell her.
