I gradually opened my eyes, finding Charles and the other guards unchaining me. As I stood up, I took a moment to change into fresh clothes. Turning to Charles, I inquired about the activities of Alpha Eros and the rest. Charles informed me that they were having a party. A chuckle escaped me. "They think they've won, don't they?" I asked, to which Charles smirked and nodded in agreement, confirming the irony of their celebratory mood.
