In the aftermath of the battle, the air in the kingdom carried the weight of both victory and loss. As I moved through the corridors, the echoes of clashing swords and the distant cries of triumph lingered in the air. My steps were heavy, burdened by the responsibilities that came with being Alpha Xander's Beta. I looked around to see lots of dead bodies of both enemies and our soldiers alike. Lots were injured during the battle. I looked with sympathy as our soldiers all sat down tired and weakened but I was happy that we were victorious.
