As Xander made his way into my room, I noticed he was tense. " Is everything alright honey?" I asked, looking at his face.
" Well, everything is fine since you are here before me." Alpha Xander said with a bit of a smile. I knew the meeting must have caused a change in his mood.
I observed Xander closely, sensing the weight of the recent meeting still pressing on his shoulders. His eyes, usually filled with a fierce determination, now held a hint of weariness. I moved closer, my concern growing.
