The echoes of Alpha Eros's commanding voice lingered outside the door as I hesitated, my knuckles hovering over the solid oak. The air seemed thick with tension, and the muffled sounds from within the room hinted at a storm brewing. As Alpha Eros's trusted soldier and confidant, it was my duty to stand by him, to share in his triumphs and tribulations.
