Chapter 4 He left around nine o’clock after they spent a little more time going through Colin’s papers — more to put things in order than because they were looking for anything else. In fact, Caleb departed with several folders’ worth of material tucked under one arm, and thanked her again for letting him have the research. No romantic overtures or anything like that, but he was acting pretty darn friendly. Rosemary chose to take that as a good sign. They decided to meet at ten o’clock in order to let the worst of the rush hour traffic get cleared out.
