It was a fine early morning time, the sun slowly clearing up the chillness in the air and the streets have started getting busy. Sathya was walking back to the house after buying some fruits and milk in the local market. She looked so deep in her thoughts and didn't gaze around anywhere than the ground. That time the sound of bike horn startled her. She turned to see Raghu who raised his helmet shield and smiled seeing her surprised face. He was all sweaty after his jogging. She turned her gaze down immediately and left out a sigh and smiled. "Get on," he commanded and she nodding her head sat behind him. In our life, anything can change at any point of time, and nothing will happen like how we expect. Sathya lately realized the trueness in that. She thought Raghu will never understand her and act like how he used to be in the start. But as a miracle everything changed, not very sudden, not so intentional it happened slowly as each day his smile started getting bigger and brighter to see her. His eyes were trying to tell her something but his lips remained silent. Sathya has fallen in love but she acquainted it on a beautiful day, for her all days are normal but yesterday was the beautiful, enchanting and unbelievable day of her life... Previous day Sathya came home earlier since she had a severe stomach cramp and thought to inform Raghu later. But she totally forgot that thing after she came home and slept on the couch crying. Whenever she had this pain she would cry because of the awful pain and for having no one to care for her. She thinks how better how would be if her mom was with her but after all a struggling human can only cry and get through this pain. Surprisingly, Raghu called her when she was in that helpless state. She tries to sound normal but he identified there is something that is bothering her. He usually won't call her at this time but yesterday he felt something odd since morning her face was dull and gloomy. "Sathya what happened? Tell me?" his concerned tone broke her down. Hearing her sobs Raghu stood up from his seat and asked only one thing. "Where are you now?" He headed home as fast as he could. Sathya was not sure whether Raghu might come. But hearing the door opening sound, he halfway took her pain and seeing his worried face she strongly felt that feeling which shows up occasionally. The feeling of love, the feeling that gives you strength and the feeling which make your heart to race. "What happened Sathya?" he asked sitting on his knees beside to the couch. "Stomach pain," she uttered biting her lower lip and her eyes welled in tears. She doesn't know why she is doing it again and again, she has never cried to anyone even to her parents but with Raghu, she couldn't stop showing her vulnerability. "Is that hurts badly, shall we go to the hospital," he asked and gently fondled her hair. That almost cleared the aching and she blushed nodding her head in no. "Don't hide the pain, let's go to the hospital," he urged her. "No, I will be alright," she avoids looking into his eyes. "Huh? We are going to the hospital now. Get ready," he ordered and took her in his arms. Sathya was stuck, she couldn't escape. Her heart overwhelmed in the love that she surpassed for all this time. She could only hear the racing heart that's echoing in her. He dropped her on the bathroom floor and asked her to fresh up. Sathya closing the door behind kept her hand against her throbbing heart, she smiled. She came out wiping her face. Raghu came into the room carrying a coffee cup. "Drink it," he annoyed and Sathya felt bad. For a moment she thought he is not really caring for her. But, "You should have called me before itself, if there's anything that troubles you, you have to tell me first. I am your husband and I will always be there for you even there's no one," his sudden statement made Sathya blush very hard. She sipped the coffee looking at the other side, she doesn't know how to react for this but she is tremendously happy to hear it. They went to the hospital and the doctor prescribed some medicines. Coming out Raghu went to buy the medicines crossing the road across. Sathya looked at him like seeing a wonder, yeah he is a miracle in her life. Seeing her Raghu smiled widely standing at the other end carrying the medicines. What are you? I thought I can't fall in love. But now you broke all my assumptions. I think I have fallen in Love with you, she thought and Raghu stood in front of her. Gazing his eyes briefly she gasped. "What?" he asked. She shook her head as nothing and turned to smile. Raghu sat on the bike, during the ride Sathya couldn't stop her smile and the cringe feeling on her stomach. Before going home they had dinner in a hotel. Sathya avoided to look his eyes, Raghu didn't find anything wrong in her and ate the food. Once she is done Raghu gave the medicines there itself and she had it looking at the side. It started raining outside, "Sathya?" "Hmm?" she turned her attention to him but felt nervous to meet his eyes. "Do you feel better now?" he asked. She nodded her head. He breathes out a smile of relief. That night Raghu slept peacefully hugging Sathya but she couldn't sleep for a single moment. The Love that she realized is too much to handle at that moment. Raghu left for a morning run and Sathya got up slowly and decided one thing that she shouldn't confess her love until he does. And now she is very much excited about meeting her parents after a two-month gap. They were going to their hometown Ooty and for the first time, Sathya was going to stay in the place where Raghu grew up. Sathya prepared a mixed fruit juice for them putting a lot of sugar plus her Love. She poured more on Raghu's glass and went to give it. He came out of the shower wrapping a towel on his waist. Sathya gritted seeing his manly glory, she shoved the glass to him and Raghu knotting his eyebrows took it in his hand. He thought about why she is acting weird! Drinking the juice in a gulp, Raghu sipped it until the final drop. "Do you want more?" Sathya stuttered to meet his strong gaze. "No," "How was it?" she mumbled. "Come here," he pulled her close to him and gave a hard kiss on her lips. Sathya was stunned and pushed him. "That was really good," he said and removed his towel. Her eyes widened instantly she turned and her cheeks burned by his hotness. "Why you are acting like you are shy, you have seen me naked a lot of times. Turn around," Raghu chuckled pulling the pant up to his waist. She nodded her head in disapproval and walked out of the room covering her face in shy. "Sathya, don't run, you have to pack the bags," Raghu shouted. "I will do it later," she whined and headed inside the kitchen, she drank the juice and smiled biting her lower lip. Raghu wearing a red shirt and black pants came out folding his sleeves. "Sathya?" Now what? She thought and came out. "I am going out, do you want anything?" "No," she nodded looking down. Her silence and shyness made him observe her. "What happened to you? Are you not well," he asked. "No! I a...m fine," she told to stop him from getting close to her. "Okay," he left and Sathya stumbled on the couch feeling her racing heart. This cringy feeling in her stomach is really turning her difficult to talk. The more she is near to him the more it pulling her heartstrings. God, I can't handle it! She fell down on the couch and squealed like a child. Raghu returned home when Sathya was drying her hair standing in the balcony. She was wearing a peach color saree and looked so beautiful. She turned and Raghu looked her fixed. Just like Sathya Raghu averted his gaze somewhere and dropped the bags on the couch. "What is this?" Sathya questioned him coming into the hall. "I bought clothes for your parents and we will buy sweets after going there, okay." he smiled. Sathya's jaw dropped in surprise. "Open it and see," he said. Nodding her head Sathya saw a beautiful blue Pattu saree. "That's for your mom," he said. "It's nice, thank you," she almost had tears. In that there's another saree too, "It was little fancy and that's her favorite color yellow. "And this is for you," he smiled. She stared blankly at the saree, why you have to do this? Do you love me? "Do you like it?" he asked. "I love it," she muttered. She closed everything and headed back to their bedroom, she started to shed tears of happiness while looking for which one to wear on the holidays...
