Doctor Bruno had decided his niece and her husband should have complete privacy. To that end he’d installed ceiling to floor heavy drapery over the glass walls of their quarters. He also forbade anyone except Carmella to enter the room with the video displays of their quarters and garden. He informed both Heather and Namba that they were free to leave their quarters and have access to the rest of the compound, but warned them against going outside of it. “The area is controlled by a powerful drug cartel who would do you both great harm,” he cautioned.
