Always Choose Dare

Preface - READ FIRST**

Hello!

As many of you know, my writing "career" began when I was undergoing cancer treatment as a way to pay my medical bills. Since then, I have begun a new job, working full time and more per week, so my writing time is limited at best. I write in fleeting moments only, so updates will be sporadic. If this is something that will frustrate you, then I understand if you choose to not read this book.

For those of you who still choose to read Always Choose Dare, I kindly ask that you do not leave comments asking when the next chapter will be released or expressing anger for how long has passed before updates. This is a free book - I am making no money to write it for your entertainment, so please be kind.

Once this novel is complete, I will print it with my other books on multiple retail sites. If you want to get firsthand knowledge as to when that will be happening, please consider joining my readers group, Jaylie's Steam Room, on Faceb00k. I do have accounts on other social media apps, but they are less used as (again) I have little spare time outside my job.

Now to the important part:

This book is dedicated to every person who has felt as thought they were "not enough". You, darling, are far more amazing than you realize!

As a Type One Diabetic, I use much of my childhood experiences in Remi's character. The pain of children saying, "Don't sit by her - she has a disease," is as fresh now as it was then, but with time comes perspective. I hope Remi's story will inspire you to cut the ties that hold your mind in a place where you feel "not enough".
