2. Acceptance

All I can do now is try to work this out somehow. I got inside the dining area which was full of people as always, as yesterday, But No, the difference was too drastic, if yesterday they looked at me smiling and eyes full of hope, today as I was walking through them all I saw was looks of concern and even fear. I was going to sit in my usual spot when I saw that Adreian was there with our friends. Our eyes locked and in an instant, I heard growling inside my head.

- Calm down!

- "Don’t forget our deal!"

- That was not a deal to begin with.

- "Woman! Don’t push it!"

I was frozen on the spot looking towards Adrian and talking to Hades. I was getting worked up. I was treated like a child from my own wolf and I hated it.

- Or what?

- "Do you want me to kill him?"

- Why are you so aggressive towards him? he did not do anything wrong to you!

- "Yes, he did!"

- No, he did not! Stop acting like a jerk!

- "You stop talking to me like that you ignorant child!"

- What?

In that moment Samantha (our beta female) places her hand on my shoulder and I looked up.

- Hey Mira! You all right?

- Yes!

- You don’t look so.

- I know!

- No, I mean, your nose is bleeding.

I placed my hand on my nose and felt the blood. It really was there. Damn, what the fu** is this?

- "You can’t contain my powers so stop arguing with me and do as I say!"

- This is your doings?

- "That is not my doings! It is your own body betraying you! You need to train."

- At least we can agree on something.

I tried to not scream.

- Thanks Sam, for looking out for me. It’s nothing really. I just need to train.

- At least eat first!

I looked in direction of our dining place and everyone was looking at me, even Adrian, with pity? Okay! we are done here.

- I will eat outside. thanks Sam.

I got outside and finished my meal alone. I am getting the feeling that this will be my new spot from now on. After a while I got to the training ground and my brother explained lot of things to me. It was tiring but I loved it. it was first time I felt insincrone with my wolf even though we did not shift. Dimitri asked me to shift only at night and only with him next to me. So, I was waiting for night to come. Throughout the day Hades was always very irritated when there was any male nearby, but it was pretty difficult to avoid them as I live in pack house full of male wolves. But at least the time for my shift arrived and I was standing outside waiting for my brother. Maybe we don’t get along very well but I am dying to see how my wolf looks.

- Are you ready sis?

- Very ready!

- Hades I hope you will behave.

- He will!

- Okay then. You know what to do?

- Yes, hades explained.

I did not have my sentence finished that I transformed into him without any pain. I looked at Dimitri he was standing there smiling.

- You transforming that fast really freaks me out.

I also smiled. Mind linking him I confessed that I really want to see Hades and Dimitri looked little worried all of a sudden.

- You know he maybe doesn’t look what you might imagine but still he looks very powerful.

These words were selected with caution, so there is something I don’t know. I ran towards the lake and Dimitri was right next to me in a second. I looked in my reflection and even though it was night I could see clearly how I looked. Hades was all black with red eyes, he was almost as tall as my brother’s wolf but the thing is, he looked as if we were having battle a minutes ago. There were bite scars all around his body and he looked fu**in terrifying. He looked like someone who crawled straight from hell.

- "Well thanks for the compliments."

- Sorry! You know that’s true. But my brother is right you do look very powerful!

He just went silent, so I looked at him for the last time and started to run. I have so many questions, my thoughts were everywhere, but fortunately running do clears my mind. As we finished, I was certain in one thing - we like it or not, me and my wolf, we are one, and we have to try to comprehend each other’s reasoning, accept and connect. Even though it is not even Close a bit of what I have imagined of getting a wolf would be like, I am ready to do everything within my capability to understand him and be a worthy human and I hope the attempt will be reciprocal.
