I felt the anger and tension radiating off Caden in waves as he spoke, his voice low and dangerous. A part of me quivered in fear, but another part—stronger, more reckless—rises up to meet him. I can't let him dominate me, not here, not now.
Before I know what I was doing, I step into him, pressing my body against his. My hands fist in his shirt, yanking him down to me. "You think you can avoid me forever?" I hiss, my lips brushing his. I'd finally snapped, and just when reality hit me and I started to pull away, he inched closer, kissing me hard, demanding. His lips claimed mine, teeth nipping, tongue probing. And I retaliated, I put all my anger, my frustration, my pent-up desire into that kiss.
His arms wrapped around me, crushing me against him. He devoured my mouth, kissing me back
