“Liliana!!” Penelope came running out of the apartment complex and to her side. Liliana looked at her sister, and knew her eyes were full of terror.
“My water broke,” Lili could feel the fluid slowly dripping down her legs.
“Okay let’s get you inside, don’t panic we have this all planned out,” Penelope said in a calming voice. Penelope paid the driver and started ushering her in the apartment complex. Suddenly both a contraction and the betrayal pains hit her at the same time. Her legs couldn’t support her and she started to fall to the ground.
“The pain shouldn’t be this bad so soon.” Her sister commented.
“It’s not,” Lili gritted out at fire ripped through her chest. Lili took some shallow breaths as the worst of it finally faded.
