The next couple of months were very hard on the three mates. Nathan left the day after the ultrasound. Nathan decided it was best to leave Helen and Jocelyn at the wolf pack for now. Nathan felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest.
While Liliana had pushed him to leave because it was what was needed. That didn’t mean she wanted him to leave. Lili cried for several days missing her alpha mate.
Liliana started to become very sick from the pregnancy. The doctors couldn’t tell Lili if the sickness was normal, or a symptom of carrying a hybrid pup. Lili agonized over the decision for more than a week. During that time no pill eased her morning sickness. Lili ate something small in the morning, and her stomach was in a vise all day. Lili generally threw up at least once a day.
