Birthday party 2

Maria POV

The night of the grand birthday party of the Demunte family have finally reached. I sat down on my bed with my towel on and began apply my body cream.it is called Lux body cream.Such body cream nice and elegant for a lady like me for me to glow as other rich ladies I am gonna meet at the party.I have no group of friends. The only friend I have is Sarah. She is my childhood friend and we grew up in the same neighborhood. We both had dreams of becoming Doctors before dad brought this nonsense martial art on my way. I still have the passion in getting a doctorate degree even though I am 22 years old.Sarah tell me that as soon as she graduates from the university ,she will come back for me and we will spend quality time together. I will always call Sarah to check up on her and how she is doing in her studies.Such a lucky girl! She grew up with both parents that love and understands her even though they ain't wealthy but on average to support their daughter's dream in becoming a Doctor.

I matched towards my wardrobe and picked the dress best fit for me. I don't want heavy things on me. I love my simple life.I dress like a tomboy but still looks beautiful and my curves is going to be exposed to light to night.I usually hide my curvaceous body from men lusting after women to just have a taste and dump.I got my wide and full hips from my mother.I am a beautiful black girl and I am going to be sitting on the same line with the rich white ladies as described by dad.it is just for a night and I will be back to my normal dressing. I picked the red wine fitted gown from my collection and it suits me better. I place it on the as I unwrapped my towel from body and wore my dress.I faced the mirror and saw it hung around my curves. I am going to feel unusual tonight because this was my first time wearing something like this.

"Dad!". I screamed in my mind.

He is the reason I am dressing like this because right now I am feeling naked.I styled my hair to a ponytail and applied simple makeup on my face.At least, it tones my face and I love the image of myself on the mirror.

" It is time to get going Maria!" Dad yelled from the living room

"I am coming dad,give me 10 seconds". I quickly grabbed my high heels and wore it.I looked back at the mirror in case I need to do some adjustments.Everything was just perfectly good.I didn't force things on myself and I looked this good!

I went to where Dad was,

" Maria it is late and the party have already started. This is past nine and the was fixed by nine".

"I am sorry dad,I was checking ou myselft I needed to be properly dressed. You know we are going to meet elites at the grand party.it is not just any people. It is influential people", I pronounced influential people laying more emphasis on it

First time in my life that I am going to be in the midst of people of high class as a commoner.Dad ain't scared of the idea either. A car was outside and a driver was waiting for us outside .Dad left and I followed behind.we reached the spot where the Car was, entered and the driver drove off.

Meanwhile in the car,I was hatching plans in my head on how to spill up drinks on my body and leave the party as soon as possible for the ELITES.I wonder what those rich people will think about me and dad ,I pondered. Wandering off to an unknown land,the car came to an halt and it brought me back. I was in excitement when we finally reached the grand and luxurious mansion of the Demunte. We can see chandeliers hung at every corners and sets of chairs around big round tables.People were already at the party. Not just any people but Wealthy families that were invited too.Dad took my hands to his as we can see a man dressed in back suit,also with a woman dressed in an expensive gown approaching.

"Hello Mr Dan's". He stretched out his hand for a handshake to dad

" hello Mr Demunte, it is my pleasure to be invited to this big party ".dad responded

" alright, this is my wife Nora. Nora meet Mr Dans".it is my pleasure meeting you. She welcomed him with a warm smile.

He is the Mr Demunte dad was talking about.wow! Such an handsome man with a beautiful wife.with this mixture, I wonder how their children will look like .Maybe super fine.I thought.

He continued,

"It is nice having you here and who is this beautiful damsel you have with you here?"

"It is my daughter ,Maria". Dad answered politely

" wow, such a beautiful lady.I will want her for my son.You know she not only beautiful but got important qualities too". He was taking few glimpse of me and I wondered whether he meant what he said.I started screaming In my head that I don't want anything to do with the Demuntes.Everything is dad's fault.if not for the fact that he acted as a hero 10 years ago.I wouldn't have gotten into this mess.

I answered him with a warm smile,

"Thanks you".

" welcome my daughter ".he brightly said

They led the way for us and I winked at dad

As we entering, I can see people eyes fixed on me and dad .Most especially me.

" what mess have I gotten my face to.I am not an extrovert".

Mr Demunte took dad and I was introducing to some of his friends as Mrs Nara showed the way to sit in the round table of ladies like me. Delicious dishes were served on the table and I guess I won't miss an opportunity like this. The ladies introduced themselves to me and they sounded so polite than I expected.I grew up with the mentality that rich people kids are mean and does not have respect. But what I am seeing here is a big difference.

Nicholas POv

Dad and mum are f*****g annoying.They chose to plan this behind me and thinks I won't find out.I stood faraway from the high tables and people ,taking sips from the glass of my drink.Something fascinated me as I saw a beautiful lady with huge and full legs chatting with the other ladies.From the way she dressed she looks like a commoner. But how can a commoner have such beautifully shaped figure.yeah, I have seen beautiful ladies but something about her is different. She does not act over classy for our beautiful she is.I developed sudden interest and felt like approaching but my pride allowed me to still remain in that spot. I will investigate about her.I am the billionaire and usually do investigations on people's identity.

"Nicholas what are you doing here? Won't go and attend to our unpatient visitors". She asked keeping a stern face

" mum I just need sometime to chill here before attending to them.Mum you know I don't like keeping too many people company. There are foods and drinks and also other people .it is enough to give them the company they quite deserves not me ". I grunted

Mum continued,

" Sana is over there chit-chatting with the ladies why don't you go and get acquainted with the guys?"

"Mum don't worry about me not getting myself involved in party discussions. Bryan is on his way coming. He is the one I have been waiting for".

" okay son". Mum moved her head to my cheek and gave me a warm kiss.

"Love you Nicho.But be a good boy to the guests tonight". She went away

Mum have been the one showering I and Sana with love since when we were little. Sheneither give us hard time like dad nor impose strict training on us.I know our parents loves us very much but dad never show it to our faces.Our he shows his disdain.

I stood there and my eyes fixated on the beautiful damsel.She was felt as if she was forced to come to the party.

" what a very interesting lady?" I mumbled to my myself

"Here you are". Bryan reached the spot where I stood.

" hey Bryan.it's been a while.How is Cecilia and family? "I asked politely keeping a smiling face at

him.

" they are fine".He answered.

We find a place to sit as we watched guests in the party.I gave him a glass and poured wine into his cup as he drinks quietly. Bryan had been my friend from university days.We studied business management in a State university and he have helped. He is from a wealthy family like mine but one thing was different,his father did not bring up the hard way.I have met his father, such a easy going and cheerful man with great charisma. Despite that, he is a successful business man jus like dad.Bryan has an elder sister who is married with kids and she lives in Texas.Bryan do go there to keep her company and he never forgets his good friend beside him.I am lucky to have him as a friend but soon we will soon go our separate as he is planning to get married by December. I am the only one left.we will always be in contact with each other.

"Hey buddy! What are you looking at?" He asked motioning his hands to me

I think he caught me, "you've caught me this time". I said laughing out

" you are such a jerk! I have been watching how you are stealing glimpse of that beautiful lady over there." He said smiling

"Isn't she attractive? Every man dream girl". I said with a smug face

" yeah,very attractive Buddy. But haven't you seen other ladies too with than kinda body she got?"he asked looking at me suspectingly without batting an eye

"Don't give me that look Bryan". I laughed out with the glass of wine in my hand.

" hey buddy,I know what you are up to already. You can't hide it because I have known you for years and I know how you don't spare girls one look.something about this is different".

He continued smiling,

"Well thanks to your father that came to your rescue before you become a gay and unable to produce his first grandchild ".

I gave him a stern look " hey Buddy what do you mean by that .I don't understand the angle you are coming from. Do you mean I am a gay or bi? God forbid! At least true love is better than using bitches for s*x".

"Well Nicholas, if you love that lady there approach her and tell her that you wanna be friends with her.But NO,your pride won't allow you have a girlfriend".

I looked at Bryan and sighed " buddy I don't have pride .I wanna approach her but how will she feel at my proposal for us to become friends? I am just looking out for her reaction".

He moved closer to my ears and whispered,

"Unless you wanna loose an important trophy tonight".

" enough of your fatherly advice".I said loud

We continued to drink and laugh and discussed about other things.Bryan is such an honest guy.luckily,his wife gonna enjoy him.

The music began as I and Bryan went to sit at one of the high tables opposite the strange beautiful lady.
