Hi everyone !! My name is Poppy Cumine and this is my first short story I’ve published,I really hope you all enjoyed it ,here’s a little bit of info about me if your interested :

I am a passionate writer and aspiring

author from Wales,

currently studying at Pembrokeshire

College. My work has been recognised in

both local and school writing competitions,

including a published short story that

earned an award at a regional literary

competition. I have a strong background in

storytelling, not only through writing but

also in theatre, having contributed to

scriptwriting and production for various

stage performances.

My love for history has played a significant

role in shaping my creative work. Inspired

by my father’s deep appreciation for

historical narratives, I have been immersed in history from a young age, frequently visiting Pembroke Castle and exploring the historical context of places we travelled to as a family. This passion is reflected in my writing, where I strive to bring historical depth and authenticity to my stories.
