Chapter 2

I have been seeing the pack doctor for a while now and on a regular basis.

Kelly is a wonderful young girl. She tends to me with pity in her eyes and tells me more often than not that I should leave. I walked in pretty early in the morning.

"Oh not again Ash, what happened this time?" she asked me as she gathered her medical supplies from the shelf

" the usual" I moaned as she applied the cream to my back.

" the Alpha, his beta and his third were not happy with the way I looked today, they acted on it again" I winced again as she cover my back with my shirt.

"you know what I think you need to do don't you?" Kelly asked me with a worried look on her face. "Ash, you need to leave, there is nothing holding you here. no family, no mate, the Alpha treats you so badly. why do you stay here?" she asked me. I swear I could see tears in her eyes.

"you know me Kel, I stay because my dad would have wanted me to stay as part of the pack and for fill my duties to the pack." I reminded her of what my dad told me on the day I shifted.

"I understand why you think you need to be here, but ash, they will continue to hurt you, they will beat you and torment you. I am worried that one day it will go much further and I wont be able to help you." I sighed, and gave her a reassuring look.

"You know I will leave before it comes to that don't you? I mean I can handle this" and I pointed to my back "and I have you to talk to about everything. I will be ok." I tried my best to smile but the pain in my back was still there. I knew I would be heled by tomorrow and I could go back to my duties as soon as I left the clinic but for now I just wanted someone to talk to.

"I have some friends in another pack, a different territory. I could arrange for you to flee here and never come back" she placed her hands on my shoulders and gave me the ‘you’re crazy if you stay’ look.

I smiled at her and walked towards the door. "I have chores to get done. I will see you later Kelly." and with that I walked out. I headed back to the pack house. as soon as I was inside the doors the abuse had started. I could hear the comments about me being the packs w***e, I was ugly and unworthy of being anyone's mate and I should do everyone a favour and either leave or die. I ignored as much as I could making my way to the upper floor to clean out the rooms. This was my usual time that I would clean the Alpha’s room, beta’s room and the thirds room when I heard it. I stopped dead in my tracks and spun around to see the Alpha hissing at me.

"Why are you in my room little flower?" his question threw me. I looked at him stunned, I was always here at this time of day to clean. He stepped closer to me and I could smell it. The Alpha had been drinking.

"Are you hear to pleasure me little flower?" he asked me, taking another step closer to me. I backed away as much as I could until my already pained back hit the wall. I winced slightly and his smirk grew across his face. He was standing between me and my exit. Oh, Ash, how am I meant to get myself out of this one?
