Chapter 7

Ashley POV

I could hear noises coming from outside the door and heard Jamie call out for them to leave. I looked at my supposed mate and let out an almighty snarl.

"Ashley" he said to me in his Alpha voice. "calm down. take a breath. and shift back to your human form so we can talk." his words ran through me and sated my anger. slowly I began to calm myself and shifted back to my human self. out of nowhere he threw something on me. his eyes were fully black and I realised that I was standing in front of him naked. I grabbed the blanket he threw at me and covered my body. his eyes changed back to blue and I took a seat, how could the moon goddess give me a mate that took my father from me?

"are you ok? Ashley, can.. can I... hold you" he asked me with his arms trying to reach for me.

 I wanted to feel his touch, take in his scent and kiss him.. but I shook my head. I couldn't touch him. I didn't want him touching me either.. argh I am so confused..

"ok, I will stay over here. I will answer your questions and then we will talk about my pack and yours ok." was he waiting for my approval when I nodded.

"Kelly is my sister. she was with my father two years ago when he went to sign the treaty with your pack. when all hell broke loose and my father was slaughtered.. they kept Kelly. they forced her to join their pack and become their packs doctor. I had lost my father and my sister to that monster in one day. he sent word to me to tell of what he did and told me that Kelly would remain with them as a sign of good will that my pack would not retaliate. if I did then he would slaughter her as well." his voice started to break. why was I feeling pity for him? my pack was protecting their own. I knew Kelly wasn't born in the pack and that she came from somewhere else but I didn’t know where.

"your father was an honourable man and I am sorry for his death. you see he was going to leave your pack with you and join us here but on the day of the treaty he didn't show up to my fathers side. when Alpha craig started the attack my father was not as protected as he should have been. your father was meant to be there by his side but he arrived too late. from what my warriors that got out told me, he came in and saw my fathers body and your Alpha standing over him cover in my fathers blood, your father shifted and tried to take on the Alpha and paid with his life." tears began to fall from Jamie’s face. I moved over to sit beside him and placed my hand on his back.

he looked me straight in the eye when he felt the spark. his hand moved to cup my face, he bowed his head down and planted a small but tender kiss on my lips. the feeling was incredible. it was like jump starting a car. he looked at me waiting for me to pull away but instead I kissed him back. he placed his other hand on the small of my back pulling me in to a deeper kiss. I moaned and he took the opportunity of my opened mouth to explore my mouth with his tongue. my hands wrapped around his neck revealing a lot more of body from under the blanket than I would have liked but I didn't care. he pulled his mouth away from mine and began to explore my neck. he kissed me where I would one day be marked, and my body went wild. I moved onto his lap completely exposing my naked body to him. I heard him growl a low and deep growl as he took me and laid me on the bed. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he started to explore my breasts. my n*****s were already hard and he took one in his hand and the other in his mouth. I cried out with pleasure and I felt myself becoming wet.. he sniffed me and looked at me with a wicked grin. I went bright red as he moved from my breasts to my navel.

"Hey Ash are you ready to meet... oh my goddess" Kelly walked in. her face would have been an exact copy of mine. I came to my senses and climbed out from underneath Jamie covering my body with the blanket again..

"What the hell is going on in here? Jamie get off her now. Ashley are you ok are you hurt?" she rushed to me her eyes searching for answers.

Jamie laid on the bed looking smug "everything is fine Kelly, could you please leave so my mate and I can get back to getting to know one another?" Kelly’s eyes bulged out of her head. she looked to Jamie then to me and back again. "mate? Ashley is your mate?" she asked in surprise.

"yes, know will you please leave and I will find you later to tell you everything." he said in his Alpha tone. Kelly's head bent a little and she made her way to the door. "next time lock it" she said and with that she close the door behind her.

"will you come back to me?" I looked at Jamie laying on the bed. his bulge was evident in his pants.

"no..no.. I cant.. I’m sorry  don't know what came over me" I stuttered

"its the mate bond, you feel the connection the same as me. don't worry little one. I wont rush you into a choice you are not ready for. go and get yourself dressed so we can talk." and with he stood up and made his way to the door leaving me to get changed on my own...
