They had been running for half an hour when Jason started to see roofs over the grapevines. They were evenly spaced out and had different shapes and colours of shingles. He watched as the houses started to come into view, not just the roof but as well as the walls, windows, and gardens surrounding them. "Is this a village?" Jason wondered as he turned his head to Oscar. Oscar gladly answered him, "This is the pack land. Those houses belong to family members and other pack members." He seemed glad to see the houses. They continued to jog slightly slower than before, as the slope of the mountain was quite steep. Even Jason had to sidestep once in a while rather than step forward to regain balance.
