Catherine hadn't stepped outside the research base for two days. She had been buried in data analysis the entire time.
That afternoon, Zoe came over with fury written across her face and told Catherine that her younger sister's research paper had been taken and used by someone else.
Zoe complained angrily, "So what if they have money? If they're really that talented, they should write their own papers. What kind of accomplishment is stealing someone else's work?"
Catherine frowned. "How did this even happen?"
Zoe said, "When we submitted it, my sister was still listed as the first author. But when the paper was published, her name had been pushed down to second author!"
