Chapter 53 - Showing Respect

Read on at your own risk! ~ Alexa had been forcefully sedated for many hours now, and at long last she was finally beginning to come to. Her heavy eyelids slowly blinked themselves open, taking in the eerily unfamiliar room she now found herself held inside. Unfortunately for her, Alexa could still feel the horrible aftereffects of the powerful sedatives she had been given, courtesy of her kidnappers. Her mouth felt extremely parched, and her head was pounding painfully. Dehydration had clearly set in by now.
