Sound's Like A Problem

Sounds Like A Problem My alarm started to go off but I was already awake. I hadn't really closed my eyes since Ezra went to his party. I had stayed up pacing and having panic attacks until he got home. I am embarrassed to even remember that the minute he got through the door I ran to my bed and hid under the covers feels as though I would get in trouble for getting out of bed. I'm in college, I'm an adult now, I have my own rules, and I shouldn't be afraid of my friend who loves and supports me. I should be terrified of his reaction to me still awake. I sat up and hit my alarm and rubbed my face. Oh boy, today is going to be very, very long. Think positive! Today will be what you make it. I sighed and got up. I carefully stepped to the closet to make sure I wasn't too loud for Ezra. I open my closet and I find my favorite hoodie, and black pants with a pink rose on the knee. Good outfit for today. I smiled as I take my clothes to the bathroom. While walking out I looked around for any mess that could possibly be a problem later. As I looked around, there was simply a cup of water two pills and a small note. I turned my way to the bathroom and opened the door to a still very clean bathroom. Good, I won't get in trouble for being messy. Everything is clean. I went into the bathroom and started the shower. I have fifteen minutes before I need to get out and get ready for ten minutes. I sighed and got my shower ready. Got to keep on track. ... "Does anyone have questions about this topic and the project I am assigning you?" The teacher said with a small smile. The class was quiet and no one had any questions. "However, I will require you to have a partner. It's a large project and it's a lot of work for one person to handle." There was an audible groan go through out the room. I sighed and rested my head on my palm hoping that the class would be over soon. I mean there was twenty minutes left. My first class will be over soon. "Hey kid, got a partner?" A tall young man said. He was tan, light brown eyes, with black and blonde hair and a few tattoos. "I-well-I'm not go-going to have a partner." I said panicking and looking down. I heard him groan and huff. He pulled a chair up next to me and sat down. "I don't have time to deal with children." He snapped. "We have to be partners. My name is Giovanni, what's your name?" He said laying on the desk very unamused. "I don't have time to deal with children." His hand swung around smacking me in the face as I cried. "I wanna go home!" I yelled throwing the glass cup away from me. The man looked at me calmly with a smile and nodded. He walked over to the glass that shattered across the floor and picked up a larger piece. "Bad boys get punished. How can I make that simpler for you kiddo?" He said laughing a bit holding the glass shard up to my neck. My feet were chained to a chair, my neck was hugged by a chain, and I wore a striped blue shirt that was three times too small for me and sweats. I felt so humiliated. "Bad boys get punished, right?" He said poking the glass into my cheek. I felt a tear fall down my cheek. I was fairly young at this point. I don't really remember. "Right?" I looked down and shook my head hoping one day someone would come find me. Dread filled my chest and my mind as he dragged the shard of glass across my forearm once. "Right?" "Yes please stop! Please that hurts!" I yelled. He smiled and dragged me back into the back room. I yelled so loud and yet no one heard me... for years.. Then there was a flash of a belt in front of my eyes..  a hand coming down to my face.. I suddenly was pushed into a wall..  I was then getting kicked.. These images and feelings were passing by so  quick, it was like snaps of memories.. "Hey, snap the f**k back into reality." Giovanni said snapping his fingers in front of my face. My hands were shaking I was a little confused as to where I was. I looked around and saw that some of the others were staring and then turning around. "I-I-I have t-to go. We can me-meet up later." I said gathering my papers messily and walking to the door.  I kept looking down and practically ran out the door. "No, no, no." I said holding my papers close to my chest to hug something. This is my first class of the day. I need to be better. I can't be like this everyday. I need to stop. I have a break in my schedule right now, I walked very quick back to my dorm room. Tears were falling down my face and my breathing was ragged. "Axel?" A familiar voice said. I looked up and Ezra was standing there with a few friends and I looked back down so I didn't get made fun of. "H-hi. I have to go back to the dorm." I said quickly walking past him. He stumbled over words before leaving his friends and walking quickly with me. "What happened? What's going on?" He said. He didn't touch me but he was walking in front of me. I wish he would just stop trying to be nice to me at a time like this. There's people everywhere.  "Not-nothing." I said trying to hide my panicked stutter. Did a great job didn't I? "Something is up, you're crying." I stopped walking and he stumbled back a bit before walking back to me. I'm crying that hard? "Come on. Let me walk you back to the dorm. At least I'll know you'll be okay." He said smiling. "It maybe the first week of classes for you, but that doesn't mean it's not stressful. It'll be okay." Ezra gave me his award winning smile and offered to carry my books. I shook my head quietly and tried to smile. "I just need to lay down and calm down." I said walking again. Ezra followed me and asked me about what I'm learning about in my first class and the class was English with Mrs. Tennets, she was a kind teacher and understanding of my situation since I had to tell her and my other teachers. "That's fun, at least you're not doing Shakespeare right?" Ezra laughed and ran a hand through his hair. I watched and I noticed his hands had veins running up and down his arms as well. I've never noticed that about him. Is he okay? "Are you okay?" I asked him pointing at his arms. He looked down and laughed. "Yeah! Ha, they just pop out when I get really hyped or when I'm working out." He said rubbing his arms. "You Like them?" "I was just making sure you're okay." I said quietly. "Oh, nah I'm okay! I believe we have classes in like an hour or two?" "My next class is at one thirty." I said. He hummed and nodded. "Okay, well I have class at  two so why don't we go back and watch a movie together or something?" My heart suddenly beat a little faster.  "I'd really like that." I said hugging my papers like an i***t. I tried to get my breathing back to normal as we walked and I listened to Ezra about the party last night. ...  "And then she like fell off the table! It was wild. Then I met up with someone I use to know. It was eh." "I'm sorry, hopefully you'll be okay?" "Dude, I'm fine." He said opening the door for me and waiting till I walked in. "Hey Get comfy, I'm gonna grab some juice boxes."  I sat down on the couch and turned the TV on and grabbed the blanket I dedicated to myself. I wrapped my self in my blanket and layer down on the couch hoping that Ezra had enough room. I really admired the kindness that Ezra radiated towards me and those he cares about. "Here, Awee you're all wrapped up!" He said sitting next to me but not actually touching me, which I really appreciate. He grabbed the remote and turned to the cartoon channel and found some remaining episodes of Sponge Bob on. "Thank you." I said smiling and cuddling myself into the blanket. Suddenly my eyes couldn't stay open. Maybe a nap while listening to sponge bob. ... Dimitri   "Hey pale pal." My biggest hater said. I didn't understand why college was just as bad as high-school. Then again, I was homeschooled, and never had to deal with the bullshit. But the one boy whom seems to want my attention all the time always insults me and hates me. I don't know why though. "Ah my biggest fan." I said sweetly. I smiled at him and tilted my head. "Why you preppy brat." The boy named as Jones Dering, he was also known as my biggest fan. He was also a vampire but he was upset that I beat him in a game of chess. His father is a big chess player and plays my dad, but he forces Jones to be just as good as my father and his dad himself. "My father's invited your incompetent family over for brunch Saturday evening, give me a reason to tell him you couldn't go, along side your family." Jones sneered. His long blonde hair flowed just perfectly over his broad manly shoulders. He was a gym rat for sure, his eyes were the color of the darkened sky with streaks of white, and he was a whopping six foot. He was what ever girl wanted and more. Hot, tall, and asshole. "I don't wish to come, like last time. Tell your father my sisters and parents can go." "Great. Stay out of my sight, faggot." He smiled. I froze for a second looking at him square in the eyes. "Don't call me that. I am not a faggot. That's a slur for a group of people whom don't deserve as such." I snapped. He paused and his cheeks flared. "I will address how I want, you little shit." With that he turned and left. "Hope you have a great day Jones." I said turning with a roll of my own eyes. "Dude, you've really got to stop pissing  people off." My best friend said. And then, there it was the dread filling my chest and the sassy confidence I had disappeared. "I make people mad?" I said putting my fingers together. I looked down and felt upset. "Do I make you mad?" I stepped forward to my taller friend. He stepped back and chuckled. "No, it's fine. But that friend seems to not like you even though you hang out." My best friend was also my dorm mate. Alexander Steam. Tall, tan, handsome, and very much a kinky person and it honestly has always peaked my interest. He knew how I was and what I liked and he still accepted me all the way. He supported me when no one else does. "I don't care about his approval, however I do care about yours and being a likable person. After all, I'm human right? Make a good first impression and from there see what the personality is behind the face?" I said quoting Alexander. His cheeks turned a slight shade of red while rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah! You got it!" He smiled and turned towards his class. "Have a good day!" "See ya. I'll see you later." I said smiling looking down. He was happy when I left him he should be happy when I get back to him. Alexander was human and knew nothing of the world that I live in. He didn't know my family, other friends, and after dark activities. I walked to my next class with a small smile. I wonder if Alexander thinks of me after we talk. Sometimes I wish he would call me pretty or handsome. Maybe one day he will? Maybe he will come in the dorm drunk and be like "You're handsome!" And then.. I chuckled and shook my own head at my dirty thoughts. If he were to come back tonight to the dorm what should I wear? Cute? Sexy? Provocative? "Ah!" I yelled as I was bumped in the shoulder. I whipped my head around and stared into beautiful pools of color. Hair laced over his eyes like lace covers a woman's body, his lips were just pink enough to be noticed and plump. "I-I am s-sorry!" He said throwing his hand behind his head stumbling forward with what looks like his friend who was nothing compared to him. His frame was slender but I didn't doubt underneath his clothes was a body created by god himself. A sharp sting ran through my head after mentioning that name, but I didn't mind that pain. I couldn't even believe my eyes. Even his mumbling of words was like heaven spoke. Again a sharp pain. "You're sorry?" I asked smiling. His friend pulled him along giving me probably his award winning smile that meant nothing to me. His cheeks flames for a second before turning around with his friend. I stood there amazed that someone so beautiful could exist! I turned to face the direction that he went and I wanted to follow him so badly, but I must not do so right now. He would notice me right away. Tomorrow I shall find out where he was coming from and why he was being pulled by the other boy. I must find out who he is before I leave for my parents again in two weeks. It sounds like trouble but I wouldn't doubt my skills. "Sorry there! I was pulling him along and I didn't see your short self there!" His friend said walking away. I huffed but grinned a little as the boy I bumped with was very interesting.   I must understand more of this boy. Just then my phone buzzed and it was my father messaging me about practice and training, yet again. I sighed and gave him my best answer I could muster up for him and rolled my eyes.  Imagine having a father that's a complete asshole... Oh wait, I do.  "Dimitri." A very feminine voice called out. I turned quickly to find Beatrice right there out of nowhere. "Yes?" I deadpanned. I wasn't her biggest fan and I hopped that she knew that other wise its really weird since I have fought her to a near death point. Her father intervened and told me he was sorry for her actions and that she was a silly young girl. I disregarded her father but spared her in that fight. Only because there were children there and I wasn't going to be a monster in their eyes. I wasn't my father. What she had done was she told lies and rumors that me and her had been sleeping together and that she was the next French mafia princess. Which is incorrect on a lot of levels. I'm no prince and I wouldn't be a princess if it were the case. But I had. had enough of her and her lies and I told her to back down and well she didn't. I then called her out saying she was an attention w***e and that I would never love her as she loved me. I was over her a long time ago and now, since her father took her from the near death she approached she talks to me like nothing happened and that we are just friends. I hate it.  "I have a question for you." "What." I deadpanned again. She looked so excited so I smiled a little bit.  "I'm having a friendly hunt later on in the month and I would love if you joined?" Her eyes never left me in general. She was a keen one, but she wasn't a fighter that's for sure. Her skill resides in chemicals and plosions. That's why I personally would never go to her home and stay there without worry. She was about an inch or so taller than me, not too busty but Ill admit her body was beautiful but so is every woman. She had long lock of honey brown hair, her eyes matched her hair, and her lips were always a natural shade of light pink. Her skin was pale but just enough to make her look like a glass doll. Any man or woman would want her and yet she's here wanting me of all people. She often wore a over sized hoodie with leggings and converse. It was a cute style but she wasn't really the person I wanted to see that style on. Her signature was a little half moon birth mark behind her ear. IF anyone had trouble telling who she was that was her signature, her stamp. Although she's a chemical and bio genius she also lacked in common sense and street smarts. That was only one of three of her flaws. I could go on and on how she's weird and I wish we never grew up together but her vampiric downfalls resides within her. She was an airhead, she cant handle the cold or the heat very well leaving her in a constant state of hell, and she often cant hunt efficiently. She's messy and no matter how many times or how long she has practiced something, she was just messy. I have also noticed she was a liar, a compulsive liar. Anytime she sees what she wants some way some how she will have it.  "I don't think I will." I said simply she looked utterly hurt but it wasn't my problem that she ruined a perfectly fine FRIENDSHIP. "I don't participate in that kind of thing. Its not my type of sport you could say." "Will you come after?" "I have things to do Beatrice. I am sure you'll be occupied with your other friends. Maybe another time, now isn't the best time." I waved her off and went to find Forest and talk to him more about the boy I just met.
