Chapter 35 MickyWhile I enjoyed my martinis, today, the fine bubbles of champagne dissolved me comfortably into my business class seat. I rolled the stem of the glass between my fingers. The upgrade Nick had given me was already making my trip more enjoyable than any I’d ever had, and I hadn't even taken off yet. I’d have to make sure to thank him—extensively—when I got back from Paris. It was too bad Taryn couldn't join me in business class. I almost felt guilty. Almost. I relaxed, examining the myriad of settings to adjust my seat for maximum comfort. Taken by all the buttons, I didn't notice when Taryn boarded until a smack on the shoulder made me look up.
