My knees tremble as I stare at the empty table in the middle of the sitting room. “I sure as hell left that PC on top of there last night. Where the hell is it?” My feet drag forward toward the table and I push out the slim drawers to check if I somehow tucked it in there, but they're empty. Both the first, second, and third drawers.
