The Guardian and Counselor of The Realm with the Guardians and their Counselors from all the Houses, Ayran, Betron, Don, Ishner, Medicine, Rurhran, Troy, Flight, and Army, plus the less than one hundred-years-old created Houses of Manufacture, and Trade were in the viewing stands.
The Maca of Ayran, who also acted as Guardian of Ayran, was absent. Jarvis had ignored the Director of Flight's command that he, Jarvis, was grounded for two years after being in space for almost nine years. He had twice boarded the Ayran freighters to oversee the asteroids and the mining operations in space and had not returned from the last flight.
