Arran kicked Kyler’s leg in annoyance. The kid was a good friend, but if he tried to tap his foot one more time, there was a strong chance that he was going to lose it. Will still had yet to return from his test. The prince had looked so worried has he left. If the prince could not pass the test, there was no way that Arran was going to pass, that much was clear to him.
Arran tried to think of what the test might entail. Like Will, Kyler had forced Arran to train harder than anyone else in order to pass the test. A month and a half of straight training, sunup to sundown, not even taking the blessed weekends off. He was excited for their small break over the summer, where he was certainly not be training at all hours of the day.
