After Logan shot at Jerry, he walked into the room he decided to look around, but his eyes got stuck on something, a glittering dress was left hidden inside the room he smirked knowing a little kitten was hiding over there, but he knew that would be for later.
“Interesting,” he mumbled. Logan went to sit on the couch in the private room like a king while his men nabbed the rest of Jerry's men.
“Ahh!” Jerry yelled because of the excruciating pain he was in because of the gunshot, and his lips trembled in fear. He feared for his life for he knew that Logan wouldn't spare him.
“Logan, please spare me it wasn't my idea it was Berry,” Jerry begged profusely, and the man shakes his head. His gaze turns more dangerous and his murderous intent increased upon hearing what the man was saying.
"You are selling your brother out because of a bullet?” Logan roared and walked toward him. Logan detests betrayal more than anything, and it drives him crazy that some people ain't batting an eye while selling out their friends.
“You are that cheap hun?”Logan asked pressing on the man's gunshot wound and the man let out an ear deafening cry. Logan looked at the shining red dress that his eyes had been diverting to as he pressed harder on the wound inflicting more pain on the man.
Laura gasped in shock looking at the man who wasn't a bit perturbed by what he was doing and the fact that he was looking at her side while doing it made realization dawned on Laura.
“He is doing it for me to see it,” Laura gasped at her discovery and at that time she wished she hadn't. What was he going to do to her? Would he shoot her too? Different questions filled Laura's head with no possible answer.
She held her breath tightly not letting it get noticed because breathing loud could annoy the man. "I am sorry Logan, please forgive me,” the man begged profusely and Logan just let out a crazy laugh.
“Why should I forgive you when your accomplice is dead already?” Logan says and Jerry's eyes widened in shock but not only Jerry was shocked, even Laura.
Has he already killed someone? Laura thought, and she wanted to just disappear right then without a trace, but she couldn't, she has not even healed her mother yet.
“Ahh!” Jerry screamed when Logan pressed harder on the gunshot wound, and he almost wished he could die.
His expression was painful, but Logan's was blissful. Laura studied his emotions and after seeing his relaxed look after taking down a man he knew he wasn't normal, he is a psychopath.
Laura started regretting her decision to take up the job because with the look of things now she was sure she might not get out of this alive.
Her breathing felt heavy as she tried to control herself because of her building fears.
“Where are my goods?” Laura heard his deep baritone. Somehow twisted her stomach in excitement, but she was too scared to notice the crazy feeling.
Logan looked at Jerry that had turned into a scared cat in front of him, and he hissed in frustration. How could it be so easy to break a man? He mulled in his head.
“I…I..,” Jerry stuttered and Logan looked so pissed within seconds a kick was sent flying at Jerry's mouth making him groan in pain.
One of Logan's men had kicked him, and Logan smiled with the satisfaction that his men were agile.
“It's under the couch,” Jerry shrieked loudly, groaning in pain, and Logan gave his go-ahead to search the room.
After the men almost turned down the whole room they found a black box, and they took it to their boss.
"Hmm, "Logan smelled the goods in excitement, and he placed his gun down to open it, but the next thing he saw shocked him making his aura more dangerous.
Logan knew he had just been lied to because the goods right in the box were half the stolen goods, and he got mad in rage.
"You dare lie to me, "Logan flared, walking towards Jerry in brisk steps. The man almost wet his pants in fear, and at that time he regretted his actions.
He should have known better than to steal from Logan, they all knew Logan detested betrayal, but he betrayed him anyway.
“I am sorry, but that was my share, Berry got the other half,” he says with pleading eyes. "f**k!” Logan cursed loudly seeing how a dead man has fooled him his expression looks grave, but he still held his cool.
He looked at the battered Jerry on the floor and his eyes caught something in them, relief. How could someone who was on the verge of death be relieved?
“Sean.” Logan called one of his men. The man quickly rushed to his side.
“Find whoever Jerry had been contacting these past few days and tracked them down,” Logan instructed at that time he studied the facial expression of the man, and he saw fear flashed through his eyes and panic also set in.
"Boss, please spare me, "Jerry started begging profusely and Logan let out a maniac laugh before he walked towards Jerry, and he dragged his hair making the man groan in pain.
"Now tell me where are the remaining of my goods? "Logan inquired. He got close to the man and the man whispered the words to his ears and Logan's face darkened hearing his words.
Jerry looked at Logan with a hopeful face, maybe after the information he gave him even though he was bleeding so profusely, and he might die at any time he was still hopeful. Humans are that greedy.
"Seems like I don't have any use for you, "Logan says walking back to the bag as he opened it and picked up the goods. Laura looked anticipating what they were referring to as goods, but Jerry's voice halted Logan's actions.
“You are still going to kill me?”Jerry asked in disbelief. Laura looked from where she was, and she felt pity for the man he was still going to lose his life after the torture, she thought and by now she had already feared the green eyes man more.
“Logan may, forget a friend, but he can never forget a foe and you Jerry just become one, and you can't be spared,” Logan says with a dangerous voice. It was like the wave of the voice almost knocked her out because she almost lost her balance.
"You this evil prick how dare you to think if getting rid of me after......” "Bang, "another gunshot sound filled the air and this time Laura gasped seeing Jerry's body grow cold on the ground.
He just killed a man, Laura thought, she was stiffened with fear and one thing came to her mind too. She was not going to be saved not after he knew she was there, and that thought broke her many times.
“Dragged his body out and interrogate his men and get any information you could off them,” he instructed, and the men dragged Jerry's body out of the room
After they cleared everyone out and one of the men still saw Logan sitting lazily on the couch like an unbothered king he decided to ask.
“Boss, are you not leaving?” he asked, his voice low, not trying to anger his boss..
“You leave first,” was the only thing he said, and the men left, leaving only him in the private room.
The private room was filled with silence recovering from the earlier shock and Logan played with the glass on the table leisurely waiting for her to make a mistake.
Laura looked at Logan that was sitting leisurely on the table, and she cursed her luck for being unlucky.
Logan looked at the glittering dress and when he sees she wasn't making a movement he decided to call her out since the silence was no fun to him.
“Come out now.”Logan's voice resounded in the room and Laura's legs felt wobbly, but she decided to ignore his call trying her luck.
“I won't repeat myself, come out now!”Logan roared, and that voice alone was enough to get Laura to jumped out of her hidden place.
Logan smiled at the figure that just came out of the hide, and he smirked knowing he just got something to please for the night seeing the girl's body, who he hadn't made out her face yet.
"Hello there, "Logan greeted and Laura gulped her saliva fearing the unknown......
