The shelter for abused women was great. There rules kept me safe. The best part was that William didn't know where I was and even if he figured it out he wouldn't be able to reach me. They wouldn't let him through. I felt safe for the first time in a long time. Giles had taken me to the police station where I got the restraining order against William. Giles also made report Williams abuse when he saw some of the bruise on my side from when William had pushed me down. I was against it at first, but he said it was important so I did it. I've been in their office everyday since going over every detail. All three of them are on my case now. I first objected because I knew I wouldn't be able to pay all three of them, but they assured me that I didn't have to worry about it.
