“I need a favor,” was the first thing Alex said to me at school on Monday morning.
“With?” I asked cautiously.
Alex sighed. “Can you help me pick out a birthday gift for my sister?”
I raised my eyebrows in shock. “You’re actually going to buy your sister something?”
He rolled his eyes. “I may not be her biggest fan, but she is my sister.”
“What do you want to get her?”
He shrugged. “I don’t even know.”
“How old is she turning?”
“Twenty.”
