He couldn't keep still the entire evening, no matter how hard he tried. After some time, she was sure he had stopped trying. He couldn't even mask his irritation. His eyes were shooting daggers at Deo and Yvette. He was failing miserably at maintaining his sangfroid. She was growing more uncomfortable by the second. No matter what she told him, it wasn't enough to calm him or distract him from the fact that his best friend betrayed him, and most probably had been betraying him for a long time.
