Isabella's POV
I hear their voices even before I saw them. As soon as I near the entrance leading to the garden, my brother look in my way and immediately smiled. Many of them said that we had the smile, which we inherit from our Mother. The smile which can make every person who see it, smile too. I do not if that's true but I love making people happy so, I always smile at them.
"Bella! Don't just stand there. Give your awesome brother a hug." I laughed. He is still the same back when he started all these journeys.
But since I missed him so much, I didn't hesitate to throw my arms around him.
"You look good. All these journeys and travelling have a good effect on you." I thought, having so many work to do and the expectations of all the creatures from him would make him drained and exhausted.
"If you love what you do Sis, you won't feel tired." Well, that's true. I love painting and even though there are a lot of things I want to paint, I don't feel worn out. Fely sometimes have to remind me to take a rest for I might be overstraining my hands.
Maybe that is just normal when you are passionate to your work. I'm thankful for my brother that he is loves to help other people. I can assure them that they will be in good hands once my brother will take up the throne.
"It took you so long to greet me. Last time, it was you who first greeted me when I came back." And he is still my childish brother. I wonder what changes did he adapted from all his journeys, if there is any. I laughed in my mind.
"I'm finishing my gift on your enthronement ceremony. I want to give the best gift you will ever receive!" I prepared so much for his gift. I gave it so much thought.
"Whatever that is, I know I will appreciate it. You are the best in giving gifts since you are very considerate and sometimes you just know what a person needs." Well, I want my present to be useful or memorable so that the person who will receive will be happy. Like I said, I love making people happy.
"You should. It took me so long to make it perfect."
"That's enough, you two. Let's eat. I am sure you're brother misses the food here." Our mother said when Marissa, one of my Mother's ladies maid, bringing out food from the tray to the table.
"I really missed this. Although food made by human beings are probably the best food in all races, nothing can beat food from home."
You must be confused on how my brother know about human beings when they reside in another world. As you know, my brother, Isaiah Celestia, have been doing all these journeys ever since he started his training to assume the throne from my Father. He need to visit the other races in this world, not necessarily including the human world since human beings are not part of the scope of his rule. But my brother wanted to visit them to further enhance his knowledge about them. In addition to that, he wanted to see their way of living and see if some of it can be adopted by our world. So, he visited them for year before he visited the place of Witches, which is the last place he needs to go to.
He visited them for a year since the gate that connects our word to the human world only opens once every 12 full moons, which is a year. I don't know where is the gate located. When I was young, I thought that gate is only a myth and there is no way we can interact with the humans until I learned that Fely is a human.
