I shoe everyone out of my chambers when I got there, though I am glad that the bath is still warm when I get in. It's been a little while since I was able to take a bath completely by myself, with no one around to rush me or try to get me ready for something as simple as bed. I stay in the water until the water cools off, and happily slink out of it. I quickly toss on my clothes before I crawl into bed. However, despite being exhausted, I can't seem to fall asleep.
I'm tossing and turning, unable to get comfortable. I sit up, fluffing my pillows before plopping my head back down on them. My head sinks slightly into the pillow, allowing me to stare up at the canopy. Just as I finally begin to feel tired, I hear the door to my room open.
