I got back to the hotel after running into my 'mate'. I still couldn't believe I met her. I half expected to never find her and if I did I thought it would be easy to reject her and move on. I was wrong on all counts.
I didn't really want her but I couldn't make the words come out of my mouth. All I had to do was say 'I Dreydon Demarco Delarentes reject you 'whatever her name is' as my mate' and I couldn't.
She was hot, that's for sure, but that I could get over. There were plenty of hot women who would be glad to have me bed them, probably with a lot less mileage, but that wasn't the point.
