Lucy and a couple other mothers agreed to keep an eye on her while we went to get ready to greet the guests.
An hour later we were both ready. The doorbell rang as if on que and we went down to meet them.
I could tell Maxine was nervous but trying to keep calm. I gave her hand a reassuring squeeze as I twisted the knob.
"Hello you must be Alpha Luca. It's nice to finally meet you. I'm Liam, this is my mate Chole and that's my beta, Dreydon," said a six foot tall guy with sandy blonde hair.
"Yeah nice to meet you all. Come on in," I said, shaking his hand.
"This is my mate Maxine and my beta should be here any minute. Make yourselves at home."
