My cheek burnt as I crumbled to the floor. My hands on my cheek, my heart racing faster than a bullet.
Horror splashed on my face as I turned to Xavier. He was in that mood again.
“Stay away from me,” I grunted.
He grunted, rolling the sleeve of his shirt, “You are one despicable woman! Ugly selfish w***e!” he yelled, his tone harsh and cold.
My throat bobbed as horror splashed on my face again. I knew what was coming next.. He was going to hit me, turn me into his stress ball.
I pulled away from him, crawling with my back, slowly towards the door. I needed to escape, I needed to leave.
Xavier is a beast whenever he gets like this. He loses control and makes sure I regret the day I was born.
