“Julie!” I screamed my lungs out as I saw her walk in through the door of my room. I jumped out of my bed to meet her halfway.
She stretched out her arms for me and I plunged myself on her.
“Oh, baby girl, I missed you so much,” she whispered, wrapping her arms around me, hugging me so dearly that I could barely breathe but I was also doing the same to her.
“Okay, that’s enough, I can’t breathe!” she cried out and I let go of her.
“Sorry,” I laughed and she laughed as well.
“How are you!” we said in unison and soon burst into laughter again.
I pulled her to the bed and we sat and talked, catching up on things we missed.
