Ace’s words kept me up all night. It’s not like I wanted to get back together with Xavier but at the same time, how do I know if what I feel for Ace is love?
We had the junk party and Miles filled us with stories about his new friends and his idea of inviting them to his birthday party but Ace and I had this cold moment between each other and both could not look at each other or more if he didn’t want to look at me.

“So when would you be back?” Miles asked as he followed me to the door, his face covered with sadness. He didn’t have school today as it was Saturday and normally, we’d spend the day together watching movies and cooking and playing but I had asked Xavier to meet and I had to go.
“I would be back by lunch,” I assured him while patting his hair.
