I was meant to head home after my father told me everything I needed to know about his past with Aubrey’s mum and my mum. But he didn’t let me. Well, he didn’t exactly tie me down but his words and actions made me stay.
My father and I never had a good relationship, mostly because my grandfather always made sure I was away from him and while I was away from my father, he did everything he could to tell me how weak and cowardly my father was and my father on the other hand didn’t do anything to prove me wrong, instead, he ran and hide, leaving me with his maniac of a father.
My Dad and I talked like grown men because, well, I am not a kid, I am married with a son, a seven-year-old son who loves my wife and would be worried out of his mind that I am not home after a week.
