Brooke’s POV
It feels like the week has dragged on and on. Alexander has been decent towards me, but I have still been trying to maintain my distance as much as possible. At night when we are in bed, he doesn’t push me into s*x or even try anything. All he does is lay behind me and wrap an arm over my waist. I wish I could tell him not to even do that, but I don’t want to cause any suspicions. No one aside from those I have told can know that I was brought back by the Moon Goddess. Me pushing my new mate away completely would totally raise questions; questions I just can’t answer right now.
Luckily for me, Friday is finally here, and I get to see my family again. Even though my parents were here on Sunday, I miss them deeply, just as I miss my brothers. I wonder if it would be okay for m
