Mia’s POV It has been a few days since Alexander became emotional during our nightly visit with the Goddesses. I have tried my best to be there for him, but something in him changed that night. My heart is breaking for him. I can tell it’s like he is reliving his childhood, trying to pinpoint just where it was that he lost his mother. I can sense his sadness and I just wish I could take it away from him. Tala says all Jack is doing is whimpering because he has a direct link to whatever Alexander is thinking and is connected to his mental anguish as well. I just finished my individual training for the day and walk up to the packhouse. Heading to the fridge, I grab a Gatorade and a light snack.
