Daisy’s POV Mackenzie and Callan leave a few minutes later, the baker glancing back at me over her shoulder as her husband ushers her from my store and to the left to her bakery. Noah smiles at me before he takes his usual seat in the back corner, his presence that was once comforting now feels ominous. Is Mackenzie right? Are the Cadell employees keeping me in the dark?
