Daisy’s POV The next morning, i'm back at work, and as I carry some plates through to the kitchen, I try to ignore the presence of my security detail that is seated at one of the tables in the corner, a coffee in front of him as he pretends to read a paper, though his eyes scan every single person who enters the café. After I went to bed last night, I lay in my bed listening until I heard his footsteps in the hallway. My breathing caught as they stopped outside of my bedroom door, my eyes screwed shut as I waited, would my door open, would he come in?
