Daisy’s POV I awaken to the sound of Noah’s voice floating up from the kitchen, and I groan as I prise open my eyes and glance at the clock beside my bed that tells me I’ve had just over an hour of sleep. I still feel exhausted but now I’m awake, I also realise how thirsty I am. I didn’t get a chance to drink my coffee this morning as the nausea hit me before I had a chance. Thankfully, there is a full glass of water beside my clock, so I reach out and pick it up, lifting my head as much as I can to gulp down the liquid, soothing my parched throat. Placing it back again, I fall back onto the pillows, closing my eyes, but sleep won’t take me again. I roll around, trying to get comfortable, willing my body to relax back into unconsciousness but it doesn’t work, my mind refuses to turn off
