Strawberries Pt. 2

Phil nodded, “Fair enough….now about these Black Path assholes…..Sierra is scared to tell me her real name. She won’t let me mark her….she HAS to go home first before I can mark her. What is that f*****g s**t? If she’s not ready….ok that’s one thing, but that not what she said. Not even close. Not that she doesn’t want me to mark her. She says I can’t. I do not like those words Alexander. It does NOT give me warm fuzzies.  She looked VERY sad and I feel like killing people would make me feel better. You want to know what else doesn't give me warm fuzzies? Either of them going back there. What if it’s some plot and the supernatural council tries to keep them from us to continue doing….whatever the HELL it is they are doing.” I growled, “I have been separated from Melanie long enough. I won’t stand for it. EJ and I will declare war until they are back by our sides. Everyone would. The supernatural council cannot separate mates.” Phil nodded, “Yeah….but they also can’t recruit teenagers to go undercover. Is that why Ashley holds Alpha Theo at arm’s length? I have so many questions, and I have no answers. I HAVE to tell you...My Beta brain….HATES this entire thing. Hates it...from the depths of my being. I think my brain is actually itching from the lack of information I have. The questions just grow deeper. Because….my buddy Beta Tristan will FLIP s**t if his baby sister is in the resistance….OH! His head might actually explode if the lead female formally wolf less warrior from Nashville….Drake McAlister…...will actually lose his mind. I can see it now.. Just  *clicks tongue* right out of his head.”          I closed my eyes. I told Phil, “We can’t force them to tell us. We can make them feel safe until they have to go back. We can get them to open up. If we push them, they could take off.” I growled the part. Phil frowned, “Then my happy ass will just march on down to Nashville….I don’t know what those guys are doing...but I KNOW it’s bad, and that I want my mate and my Luna NOWHERE near it….NOWHERE Alexander.” I growled, “Do you think I like this either?” The girls ran by us with clothes in their hands to the dressing rooms. Phil snorted, “No...I think you want to go to nearest gym and beat someone to bloody pulp.” I tilted my head. He wasn’t wrong. That’s exactly what I wanted to do. I had to prioritize though. I told Phil, “Melanie is my priority. She wants to spend this week just us. She’s reeling. I can’t imagine being a beta’s daughter and finding out I didn't have a wolf….only to find out at twenty years old….oh wait, I do.” Phil sighed, “Ok….I’ll give you that, but it’s not fair. You have Alpha blood. You’re all about getting the answers, but you don’t have the urgency I do. I NEED answers. I have to know all the things.”              We could hear the girls laughing. I looked at Phil, “I need her man. I need her not to disappear. She has a knack for being invisible and not around. I can’t lose her now that I have her. I WON’T lose her now that I have her. She’s mine.” Phil smiled, “And you’re her Xander...it’s adorable.” I glared at him, “Only Melanie can call me that.” Phil rolled his eyes, “I’m only your cousin and Beta….sure the Luna is the only one who gets special privileges. I see how it is. Also, for the record….I said Ashley was meant to be my bestie….I’m obviously right. She’s my Luna.” I nodded, “Yes, ok. You were right.” Phil smiled, “It’s so nice to hear you say that. I do so love being right. It’s very fun for me.” I rolled my eyes, “Yes...whatever.” Sierra came out with her arms crossed. She looked at me, “I told Ashley that you don't care what we buy….I made her try on this stuff….it looks great! She just wants to get a coat!” I frowned, “She’ll need a swimsuit and a snowsuit. We have a hot tub and a pool inside the house, and I want to take her snowboarding.” Sierra nodded, “I got her all that. She insists she only needs the coat.” I winked at her.              Melanie ran out of the dressing room with eyes wide, “Umm it all just….it’s gone. I didn't do anything and it all just disappeared! I was putting everything back on hangers then it was gone like magic….oh my god! SAMANTHA! You told Xander to conjure the stuff back to the house! I told you I didn’t need all that.” I kissed her stopped her rant. Sierra snorted, “So all we’ve needed this WHOLE time was him. We normally just let her rant.” Phil snorted, “How long can that last?” Sierra laughed “Oh….minutes, hours….if she gets on a tangent…..or is nervous….excited….angry….you know….it just goes on and on.” I pulled back and looked into Melanie’s eyes. I told her, “I’ll buy you and give you whatever you want. I want to take you to do somethings while we are here. I left the coats here because I want to show you around the town.” She slowly nodded. I grabbed her hand and we walked out. Everyone was nodding to us. They knew Phil and me. I caught a flash of someone familiar. I pointed one way to our group of something for them to look at. Then I looked the other way. I spotted my Uncle Bjourn in the crowd. I smiled broadly at him and winked. Melanie was excitedly chattering about everything around. Uncle Bjourn raised an eyebrow then nodded to Melanie. I smiled and nodded back. He would know that meant she was my Melanie. He smiled and faded into the background.              I turned back around just as Melanie turned to look at me. She whispered, “This is so amazing Xander.” I smiled, “I’m glad you like it. It’s just a walk though. I plan to dazzle you.” She flushed, “I don’t need to be dazzled. I just want to spend time with you.” I smiled, “Aren’t you sweet?” Melanie laughed, “Sometimes...I mean...well….some people would definitely not say that...some people really don’t like me...I mean...they aren’t….well they suck….I mean...I think they do….I’m nice to my friends….I used to be nice and….I’d never be mean to you….other people….other people suck when you really think about it...” I tilted her head up. I told her, “Anyone who says you aren’t nice….will not like the version of me they meet. No one will say an unkind word about you ever again if they know what’s good for them.” I kissed her again. I was addicted. I was a lost cause. She’d owned me since I was fourteen years old, but now...with her in arms reach….it was undeniable.              I showed them around the town. I took them to a cookie shop in town. Melanie flushed scarlet red. Sierra laughed, “You ok, Ash?” She whispered, “They heard us! Oh my god….I talked about biting and licking a sugar cookie and it was Xander!” Sierra smirked, “I mean….you do plan to do that anyway. You’ve been….” She cut off and must have linked her. Melanie playful slapped her, “SAMANTHA!” Phil smiled, “No linking things like that sugar lips. I definitely want to know the end of that sentence. Don’t you, cousin?” I smiled, “I’m sure I can figure it out.” I whispered in Melanie’s ear, “You’re definitely free to bite or lick me if you want to.” She made a choked noise, and the smell of her arousal filled my nose. I whispered in her ear, “You better get your cookie Lovebug before I throw you over my shoulder and take you home.” She shivered and definitely not from fear. Sierra grabbed her hand and walked to the counter. Melanie was blushing.              Phil linked me, “No one would believe me if I told them that YOU….Alexander Marcus Nathan Conners….threatened to carry a girl out of a shop in a s****l way. Not a fighting way. People will doubt me….in fact...NO ONE will believe me. If you’re going to do things like this...you have to warn your beta cousin so I can get video evidence.” I rolled my eyes, “She’s my mate. Of course I’ll say things like that to her.” Phil snorted, “You’ve spent twenty five years not talking to a girl like that. You’ve been waiting.” I linked back, “FOR HER. I was waiting for her.” Phil linked, “Even before Oden was certain it was her…..you didn’t really show interest in anyone.” I shrugged, “I’m like my mom that way. We are both more sensitive as healers. I’ve wanted her for over a decade.” Now she was finally here. She was finally mine. All the waiting. Every single moment didn’t matter to me. All the loneliness I felt on holidays seeing my siblings in love. None of it mattered now. I had her, and I’d be damned if I let her go.          The girls came back over with cookies. Unsurprisingly, Melanie had sugar cookies. We left the shop. I popped us to Restaurant de l ‘Hotel de Ville de Crissier for dinner. Melanie’s eyes were wide with excitement. I pulled her chair as close to mine as I could. I ordered for the table. The wine I’d selected was brought over. I asked, “Have you had wine before?” Melanie shook her head, “Wine, no. I have not had wine before.” I laughed, “Evasive. Have you had alcohol before?” Melanie nodded, “Yup. I’m a vodka cranberry juice kinda girl.” I smiled, “You really like red.” Melanie leaned over and kissed my cheek. She blushed and said, “I do. It’s my favorite color.” We ate our meal. As soon as we were done. I asked, “Do you want to get out of here?” Melanie laughed, “Samantha eats…REALLY slow….for as fast as I talk...she eats the opposite way.” I smirked, “That sounds like a Phil problem.” She lightly touched my arm. She smiled, “You’re bad.” Sierra said, “We are fine Ash. Go on. You two get out of here.” Melanie flushed, “Are you sure?” Sierra practically pushed her out of her chair.              They clearly linked again because Melanie blushed harder. Sierra smiled, “I demand you two go back to the house. No need to wait for me. Even though I maintain….I eat at a perfectly normal pace that allows my food to digest.” Melanie laughed and I took her hand. She smiled up at me a little nervously. I asked, “Wanna get out of here?” I was praying to every god and goddess I knew the name of that she’d say yes. She smiled shyly and nodded. We ran out of the restaurant. More than a few knowing looks were thrown our way. Music was playing when we walked outside. I spun her around and pulled her into me and started leading us in a swing style dance. She laughed, “You can dance?” I smiled, “I can do a lot of things, my Lovebug.” I’d learned for her. I knew she loved to dance. My Uncle Aiden taught me all the styles of dance. I wasn’t a bad dancer due to my fairy blood. I wasn’t surprised she knew the style. She was showing me moves. People clapped when the song was over. We were both staring into each other’s eyes. Someone yelled, “If you don’t kiss her, I will!” I growled and claimed her lips. MINE! She melted into me. Our bodies fit together perfectly.              I pulled apart from her with great effort. I grabbed her hand. I took us to a secluded area and popped us back closer to the house. I smiled, “Race ya.” She giggled, “You’re on Xander.” She took off. I gaped for a half second. She was FAST. Oden said, “uhh we are going to lose if we don’t move.” I took off after her. She actually beat me. I looked over at her, “What are you? The flash?” She smiled, “I follow your cardio training plans. Don’t you?” I couldn’t stop my smile or my laugh. She gaped, “I mean….of course you do….that...wasn’t...I didn’t….I mean….” I kissed her again. I didn’t mind if this is what I had to do to calm her down. I pulled back, “You’re funny and playful. You’re perfect.” Pain flashed into her eyes. She whispered, “I’m not.” I tilted her chin back up, “To me...you are perfect. Come on.” We walked inside. I sat down on the couch. She followed.             I asked, “So….how’s having a wolf?” She smiled, “I...it’s kind of weird having this extra voice in my head, but super cool at the same time. I keep almost answering out loud and sounding like a crazy person. I don’t know how sixteen year old’s do this and go to class.” I laughed, “Oh yeah? Were you the brainiac in your class?” Melanie looked away, “I used to be.” Oden growled, “What does that mean?” I sighed and told him, “Ashley Griffen has a GED. I don’t know if Melanie was ever dancing at that high school.” I asked, “Why did you get a GED?” Ashley shrugged, “It was important to me to get one. Black Path doesn’t really put an emphasis on education. They especially didn’t put one on mine. They were not thrilled that I got a GED, but they can eat lard.” I laughed, “I’d like to see that. I could also arrange it.” Melanie laughed, “Oh my gosh….that would be hilarious.” I smiled, “Just remember your wish is my command. I’m a fairy. I can absolutely make them eat lard.” Melanie cackled.              She managed to say, “You…..have….no….idea….how….funny….that is…..” I asked her, “When I come back from doing something for my Uncle, will you be ready to move? I’d honestly offer to move to Black Path...but I’m certain I would not be accepted there. You could challenge and be our female lead warrior if you wanted to.” Melanie’s eyes widened. She frowned, “You might not want me to move...I mean...I don’t know if I can...I mean...Black Mountain is….and I’m….” I frowned, “I want you with me.” She put her fingers in the corners of her eyes, wiping tears away before they fell. She whispered, “You might not say that once you know everything.” I pulled her into my lap. I looked her in the eyes, “There is nothing you could say that won’t make me want you. We all have a past, and stories to tell. You can tell me yours when you’re ready. I still want you to be ready to leave when I come back. I shouldn’t be gone very long. A few days at most.” She put her forehead on mine. She whispered, “I hope that’s true. I want to be with you, Xander. Always. We have….a lot to talk about and work through though if you do too.” I asked, “Like what?” She looked away, “I have a lot of baggage.”              I smiled, “I’m good at moving things from one place to another. I’ll conjure it all to Black Mountain. I can also carry quite a bit.” She rolled her eyes, “I mean emotional.” I kissed her lightly, “I know what you meant. I stand by what I said. Your baggage is mine too. I’m here for you. I’ll help you carry the burden. I’m your mate. I’m here for you. I’ll be here at every step. If you need time to explain things, that’s fine. I’m still here. I’ll leave you my burner number. You can contact me on it while I’m gone. I’m not leaving you. Not ever. Now that I have you….I’ll never take a mission like this again if you can’t be by my side. I know my Uncle will agree. He might want to see your skill set, but your reputation speaks for itself. I’m so proud of you. I can tell you have some ghosts and some things that hurt you in your past. I don’t think I can accurately express how much I hate that. I wish I had been there for you all along. I wouldn’t have held you back, ever; however, I would’ve shared the burden. You don’t have to take on the world and the injustices in them alone anymore. I’m here. I’ll help you. Whenever you are ready.”              Melanie didn’t bother to try to stop her tears this time. She clung to me as if I was her lifeline. She pulled back, “I’ve….I’m….not exactly alone, but I am. I have my friends. They have become my family but…..my wolf….not having a wolf was a huge missing piece inside me...and….you. I’ve missed you.” I held her, “I’m not going anywhere. You have me now. I’m sorry it took so long for us to meet. I’ve been fighting my instincts about popping down to Nashville to meet you in person. I was trying to respect your wishes. I was really worried about you last year. If those in Black Path know what’s good for them….they will stay away from you.” She sighed, “Can….I….you….well...I mean….about marking me….” I raised an eyebrow. Oden howled in delight. Melanie continued, “I want that…..like more than I can express….but...like….we need to wait…..until we can talk….about everything….then you...umm can decide….what you want to do.” Oden grumbled. I told her, “I’ll mark you whenever you’re ready.  If we are waiting until we have some big talk...that’s fine. I might have to bite a pillow….at times.” I winked at her. She buried her hands in her face.              I laughed, “We can take our time with all that. We have time.” She whispered, “I want to….I’ve just….I mean…I haven’t….and you’re… like wow….and probably….like know what you’re doing.” I slid my hand on her neck, and kissed her lips again. I pulled back, “I’ve never done this before either. I was waiting for you. I did get drunk at my birthday party one year and a girl kissed me…” She growled...I couldn’t help but smile. It was an adorable growl. I continued, “I pushed her off the second I could without hurting her and walked away. That’s all I’ve done.” Her eyes went wide, “That’s it? I mean...you...but….like…..LOOK at you!” I laughed, “Clearly you do not own a mirror. My lovebug is gorgeous. You’re so stunningly beautiful. I am a VERY lucky man.” She asked, “Will you regret this if you find out later...I’m not who you think I am?” I smiled, “There’s nothing about you I will regret. You’re exactly who I think you are.” She whispered, “But what if I’m not?” I smiled, “Then I’ll enjoy learning more about you.” I kissed her again. We began making out and petting each other through our clothes. I groaned when I cupped her breast. I desperately wanted to play with her n****e. I reached to take her shirt off. She pulled back.              I frowned, “Is everything ok? If this is too fast….” She cut me off, “No...I mean...I just….I don’t want to take my shirt off.” I was startled, “Hey….it’s really ok if this is too fast. We can go to bed...There are plenty of rooms here if you don’t want to stay in my room. You are absolutely welcome to join me though. I’ll snuggle the f**k out of you.” Melanie smiled, “I...No...I want to do this….I just want my shirt to stay on.” I nodded, “Ok….” She crashed her mouth into mine. I smelled Phil coming. I popped us to my room. Then groaned, “s**t! I’m so sorry, popping can be weird for your first time.” She pushed me back onto the bed. She kissed me again then pulled back, “Not my first time popping. It didn’t bother me then or now. I’m fine.” I laughed, “Now I have more questions.” She smiled, “You could ask them...or….” She took my shirt off. Her jaw dropped. She said, “OH MY GOD! Seriously? I mean….god….look at you! Are you kidding me? What the heck?! Do you ever leave the gym? I mean….just wow….I mean…” I pulled her onto the bed and kissed her neck.              I kissed where her marking spot would be. She moaned. I gently nipped at the spot. She jumped, “Holy mother of pearl….what the….” I bit it again harder. She ground her hips into mine whimpering. I smiled. I kissed her body through her shirt. When I got down to her jeans I slowly peeled them off. She was wearing boy short underwear. I gathered the hem of them in my teeth and slowly with some shimmying on her part slid them off her. I’d seen this plenty of times in the Hackura realm. I had the basics. Her eyes widened when I settled between her legs. I inhaled, “My lovebug smells amazing.” She flushed, “I mean….that can’t be true...I should probably shower...I mean...OH MY GOD! Why didn’t I shower?!” I extended my tongue out and gently licked her c**t. She jerked her hips. I was just going to fake it until I made it. I'd seen this done a lot. She started panting and she gripped the sheets. I slid my finger around her entrance. She was dripping wet. I slowly slid my finger in. She instantly moaned and came halfway off the bed. I slowly started moving my finger. Her moans were growing more frequent and closer together. Suddenly I felt her walls clamp down on my finger and she screamed, “XANDER!” I slid another finger inside her and kept going. I knew she needed to be prepared. I didn't want to hurt her.              After her fourth orgasm she begged me, “Please…..please...Xander….Claim me….please….” I smiled, “With pleasure.” I snapped my jeans off. Her eyes widened, “Ummm hold the phone...that fits in me? I don’t think it does….mistakes have been made…..that’s like a massive weapon of destruction.” I laughed, “It fits. It will be ok.” She raised an eyebrow, “Easy for you to say. It’s not going inside you.” I laughed again, “We can wait.” She frowned, “No….I just….are you sure that’s going to fit?” I nodded, “Yes.” She pursed her lips, “Guess I’ll have to trust you then.” I laughed, “You can definitely trust me.” Her eyes softened. I kissed her slowly and lined us up. I pulled back, “It might hurt.” She shrugged, “I’m sure I can take it.” I did not like the sound of that at all. My Melanie….My Lovebug...should not be used to pain. I slowly slid in. When I felt her barrier. I used my healing light as I pushed past it. She purred. I slid the rest of the way in. She looked down, “That’s it? That didn’t hurt at all….look at that….you do actually fit. Do I have a magical v****a?” I laughed, “I used my healing light so you wouldn’t feel pain, and it’s magical to me.” I kissed her and slowly began to move. Melanie closed her eyes. I growled, “I want to see your beautiful pale green eyes.” her eyes snapped back to mine.              She whispered, “Gosh that feels so good.” I smirked and repeated the move, “That? That right there?” She moaned, “Yes!” I kept repeating it. I whispered, “I’m close….” She whimpered, “Don’t stop….just….I’m...close….” When she came this time I couldn’t help but come right after her. I groaned and nearly said her real name. I barely stopped myself. This was going to be hard. I was so focused on not saying her name I didn’t even realize my hand was glowing. Melanie seemed to out of nowhere have a second orgasm. I looked up and realized I’d shared my light with her. Oden growled, “That’s not fair…..” I winced, “I didn’t mean to...I mean I want to, but….technically, she didn’t actually say anything about my light. Just about not marking her.” Oden snored, “Fairies.” I smiled, “Loopholes.” I slid out of Melanie slowly. I already felt like I was missing something not being connected with her. Good LORD! How did my mated siblings get anything done? I’d link Phil and ask if he knew….but he might just challenge me to a sword fight if I did that. I’m sure he was busy. I went into the bathroom and washed myself off. I grabbed a washrag for her. She was already asleep. I gently cleaned her up then conjured the wash rag back to the bathroom. I crawled into bed and pulled her into me and fell asleep.             I woke up knowing I was missing something. I jolted up. Melanie. She was gone. Her side of the bed was cold. I snapped on sweats and hoodie. Her bag was still here, and it caught my eye. I stopped. The wolf. Her toy wolf from all those pictures I’d seen was barely peeking out. Oden hummed with satisfaction. I couldn’t help my own sense of pride about it. She still had it? After all this time? She traveled with it?
