Cassie closed her eyes and immersed her body, leaving her face afloat in the bathtub. She had been there for an hour, hoping the cold water would rub out the guilt eating her heart. No matter how people around her hurt her or cheated on her, she had no right to do the same. That reminder screamed in her mind after Nathan brought her to seventh heaven.
