Nathan felt like a stranger in his old home. Nothing had changed except for the picture frames on top of the dresser as they entered the foyer. He was like walking on a timeline but going backward, stopping at the first family picture of Olivia and Evan. Cassie was only ten, squinting and frowning at the photographer at that time because she could not see clearly without her eyeglasses. “Nathan!” Olivia exclaimed happily as she took off her apron and approached him.
