Nathan closed his eyes for a few seconds and pursed his lips as he was getting impatient at the noise in the car. Evan apologized many times for leaving him at the café with three children, but Benjamin called, insisting he pick him up at the hospital and bring him to the Adams Residence.
When Nathan offered to do the task, Benjamin declined and told him to bond with his nephew and nieces. He could not ask Selena a favor because she was obviously annoyed at him, and he was to her. He was surprised at himself, though, that he was able to contain his irritation and bring the children home safely.
“I had a damn long flight!” he complained quietly, gritting his teeth and gripping the steering wheels hard as he stopped on the driveway.
“Thank you, Uncle Nathan,” Evander said before leaving
